Gorjuss Girls ATC's

Good afternoon crafty friends, I hope you all had a lovely holiday season with your loved one's.
I'm here with a quick share of some lil' ATC's I made using a few Gorjuss Girls. :o)

I stamped Ladybird, Forget Me Not & The White Rabbit images from the Gorjuss Collection onto old book paper with Cool Graphite Ink from Ranger Ink. I fussy cut them out and adhered them to some scrap  pieces I had made previously with Stencils and Dylusions Paints and outlined them with a black Watercolor pencil. I added some drywall and Washi Tape pieces for added texture and finished with the Tim Holtz "Small Talk" Stickers. I like to mount my ATC's onto black cardstock so that they are grounded and stand out more. :o)

How cute are they? Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

I started with a #8 Manilla tag and layered Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin and Red Barn Distress Inks with a blending tool. I then went thru the Bubbles Mini Stencil with a Baby Wipe to get faint bubbles and then layered the same distress inks thru the stencil again to create depth and a Bokeh effect. I finished with a layered flower, butterfly and Chipboard Sentiment from my stash.

I hope you've enjoyed my 3 makes for this fun ARTplorations Stencil Hop. :o)

Good Morning and happy Friday everyone! I'm here today with another make for Day 3 of the
http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2016/12/artplorations-stencil-hop.html

There are some amazing prizes up for grabs...check out the info here and get hoppin'! :o)

Today, I am embossing using the Hearts All Over Stencil
I started by embossing my 90lb Cardstock using the stencil as an embossing folder and then blending Lipstick Red Distress Ink over the whole card base. I love the softness this technique lends to the background. I kept it CAS and just added some glitter tape, painted chipboard heart and a Tim Holtz "Small Talk" Sticker.

I hope you join me on Monday the 19th to see my last lil' make for this Stencil Blog Hop. :o)

STAMPlorations~ Stencil Hop Day 1~ Distressed Honeycomb

Good Morning and happy Wednesday everyone! Today is the start of the

http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2016/12/artplorations-stencil-hop.html

Woohoo! There are some amazing prizes up for grabs...check out the info here and get hoppin'! :o)
Here's a little tag I made using Honeycomb Delight Mini - ARTplorations Stencil with a sentiment from the Strong Women set.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper and blended Mermaid Lagoon and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I added a few water droplets for added texture and then blended the same distress inks thru the Honeycomb stencil. Love the soft contrast and variation of color and textures. I used a die from my stash (sorry I got it in a swap and don't know the company name) to create a cut out and matted it onto another tag that had Black Soot Distress Paint. I finished with the sentiment stamped in Jet black Archival Ink and some crinkle ribbon and bling button.

I hope you've enjoyed my little tag today and come back and join me for Day 3 as I'll have another fun lil' card for you using a stencil to emboss. :o)

Happy Hoppin'!

Two Paper Divas~ Sending Warm Thoughts

Happy Saturday everyone, I'm back to share with you my final make for  Two Paper Divas  using a sentiment from the "One Cup At A Time" stamp set.

I lurve coffee....so I love this stamp set as the sentiments are perfect...and I thought this one could be used for Christmas as well...just add "This Christmas" sentiment inside. :o)

I got the idea for this card from Kristina Werner's post here. She used Watercolor paints and I used Distress Inks and changed up the snowflakes.  She has amazing videos so be sure to check her out and leave her some love!

I started with a 4' x 5.25' piece of watercolor cardstock and blended Distress Inks (Seedless Preserves, Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry) with a blending tool. I then embossed with We R Memory Keepers GEOMETRIC embossing folder. I then embossed a Spellbinders Snowflake Diecut with "Stardust" Embossing powder. I added the sentiment that I embossed onto vellum in white EP and die cut. I finished with a little coffee mug die cut from my stash that I stamped a lil' snowflake on it.

It's been an honor and a pleasure designing for Gayla and Melissa from Two Paper Divas this year. These ladies are truly beautiful inside and out and I wish them all the best in their retirement. xx

Don't forget to check out the Two Paper Divas Store as everything is now 50% off...that's right 50%! The store will close on Dec 15, 2016 , so go on and get your favorites now because supplies are limited and once they are gone they are gone.

STAMPlorations~ Sunday Stencil #75

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It's that time again...
http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2016/08/stencil-sunday-august-7.html
A new challenge starts today at STAMPlorations! :o)

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!
So this month I played with a sentiment from STAMPlorations Trendy Christmas Trees set along with ARTplorations Stained Glass Stencil.Silver and blue is one of my favorite non-traditional Christmas tree color palette to use.

I started with a #6Manilla Tag and applied
DecoArt Shimmering Silver Dazzling Metallic Acrylic Paint and Craftsmart Blue Sky Acrylic Paint with my fingers. After Drying, I applied White Pigement Ink over the Stained Glass stencil. I then embossed the sentiment from the Trendy Christmas Trees Set in Baby Blue embossing powder. Added some vellum die cuts and silver poinsettia flowers and finished with some Silver rope and Nuvo Drops in silver for added dimension. Voila another Christmas tag is complete. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today and play along with us this month! :o)

Two Paper Divas~ Be the Reason Art Journal Page

Happy Saturday everyone, I'm back to share with you a fun and vibrant journal page I made for Two Paper Divas  using the Be the Reason stamp set.

I've used this sentiment a lot in cards and tags, but I loved it for this fun journal page. It's one of my favorites and so versatile. :o)

I started with a page in my Strathmore 5.5x8' Journal  and used Cherry Pie and Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions paints for the background. Blending is easy if you dry with your heat gun in between colors and just layer them until your happy with it. ;o) I then added some contrast and texture by adding black acrylic paint thru the TCW Mini Cubist Stencil and a white pigment ink thru the Memory Box Starry Nights stencil.

I splattered some Yellow and Black acrylic paint diluted with water and a fan brush and added Washi Tape and Heidi Swapp chipboard stars.

For the sentiment, I stamped it in Jet Black Archival Ink and then went over it with a  Black micron pen.
There we have it, a fun, vibrant journal page with one of my favorite inspirational sentiments. :o)

Wait...don't forget to check out the Two Paper Divas Store as everything is now 40% off...that's right 40%! So go on and get your favorites now because once they are gone they are gone.

See you next week with another fun make using stamps from Two Paper Divas!
