Faery Ink~ Gabbie Poppy Fae

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I created for

using the newly released Gabbie Poppy Fae. How gorgeous is she???
I knew I wanted to create a luscious scene for this pretty image as soon as I saw it.

I used Twinkling H20's in Poppy Red for my background, how appropriate is that? LOL! I just love the gold shimmer in it....unfortunately, the camera doesn't pick it up well. I then stamped the Dylusions Around the Edge-Leaves with Jet Black Archival Ink and colored them in with Cut Grass Dylusions Paint. Added some doodling with a Signo White Gel Pen and voila a vibrant and lush background. I kept the card CAS embellishment wise as I didn't want to distract from the image and background. I will add a sentiment once I know what I will use it for. That's what I love about Amanda's Faery Ink Images, they are so versatile and can be used for various mediums and occasions.

Here's a close up of my image that I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut out. I added some SN Clear Sparkle Pen to her wings- don't think the camera picks up all the
shimmer :o(

I adhered her onto my base card with some 3D foam tape to add some dimension
I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today!

Two Paper Divas~The Most Important Meal of the Day!

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
I'm back to share with you a lil' make I made for

http://www.twopaperdivas.com/

With it being the Coffee Lover’s Summer Blog Hop last day, I’d thought I’d stick to another coffee themed card using Keep Calm &  Drink and A Cup of Kindness from this month’s new releases.

I used Egyptian Gold and Wild Plum Twinkling H2O’s to create my background. I then Stamped the Striped Teacup from the A Cup of Kindness set along with the sentiments from Keep Calm &  Drink. Matted it onto textured gold paper and onto a purple cardbase. Some gold and purple bling finished it off. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty!

Two Paper Divas~ Father's Day Card

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
I'm back to share with you a lil' make I made for

http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

With it being Father's Day today, I made my Pop's a card using
TruckPick Up Lines and hearts from I Chews You

He used to own a blue '52 International Truck when I was younger, so thought this would be perfect for him. :o)

I used the White Washing Technique on Kraft again, as I like the watercolored effect it lends to images. I embossed the images with White EP onto the Kraft cardstock then did a white washing with White Craft Ink. Once dry, I colored it with a waterbrush and Tombow Markers. I finished with some buttons and twine to keep it masculine.

There we have it...a pretty fun, sentimental Father's Day Card. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty!

Two Paper Divas~ Rain or Shine Birdie!

Happy Friday Crafty Friends,
I'm back to share with you a lil' make I made for

http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

using a couple different sets from Two Paper Divas: Birdie from A Little Birdie Told Me and the Umbrella and sentiment from Rain or Shine.

I went with soft, warm tones as I thought it went with the sentiment. I did some paper-piecing on the Birdie and Umbrella using DP from MME "Wildflower" Set with Memento Gray Flannel Ink

Here's a closer look a the paper-piecing

I stamped the sentiment using the Same Memento Gray Flannel Ink. Some Ribbon, Doily and Enamel Dots finished it off.

And here's the inside. I left it blank as I thought the front sentiment was enough. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty!
